A Word From RM Creative Director, Ron Sambrano

Aloha from Lahaina, it's March 28, 2018 and I hope all of you are having an epic day. My partner Wilmont Kahaialii and myself is on a long journey. Being both from Lahaina, growing up together in the same neighborhood, going to the same elementary and high schools, we joined forces to create RM Publishing/Productions. What is RM?

RM stands for RONMONT Publishing/Productions. It will be redundant on all of our blog posts here on onofiction.blogspot, however it is vital at this juncture. We are in business to create good versus evil fiction. We cannot disclose any pertinent info right now, for obvious reasons. However here is some facts on the entertainment business over the last year 2017.

According to a Billboard estimation, the year 2017 the U.S. brought in around $632.09 billion. Or approximately 30% of the $2.152 trillion of the total global take. (Yes, we have big dreams, with the intent of making those come true!)

The entertainment business is huge. However only a chosen few individuals, and entertainment companies really hit it big. We are realist. We are in our mid fifties now, so our goal is a bit different. 

Let me explain. We want to start RM with the intent that when we are both not walking the face of this planet, it will continue to create awesome fictional material.

Why entertainment? People need a release from the everyday grind, the avalanche of bad pathetic news. I hate to say it, but lately the gun control protests have shed light on how some people just don't care about the situation. Both Wilmont and I feel that humanity is really going to the... you know where.

This is why we are starting RM. We need to create good stories, evil will be a constant in this world we live in. And quite frankly, with more people coming to Hawaii and Maui, guess what? Housing will be non existent for (everyone). And of course the guts of our business is, (Fighting evil). It's a no brainer that with more people in any community crimes elevate to where it never was before. OK, I got threatened a few times, our house got broken into a few times, did a feel violated? What do you think? Of course. So this adds fuel to the stories we will create. Like love songs, good and evil stories will never die. Everyone wants to be loved, and no one wants to be a victim of evil.

We cannot blog publicly on what we are working on. However, we do need financing to get RM off the ground and running. Our goals are to visit the Amazing Comic Con in Las Vegas in June 29, 30, and July 1st. Put a team RM together and visit, to see and experience this entertainment convention. We both want investors who will see the big picture, and be part of a major revolution.

Our first big goal is to write a screenplay for our superhero. We have the thumbs up from many in the community. We just need the financing, and build the mastermind, build team RM.
